Safety & Cleanliness Guide

Your Questions, Answered

Every visit starts at the front desk. We register your child's name and age, plus the name and phone number of the adult responsible for them. Your child leaves only with the adult registered. If someone else is collecting them, tell us at check-in and we record the name and phone number on the registration. If you have booked our Babysitter service, the same rule applies and we also take a second contact number before you leave.

Cleaning runs on a fixed schedule that does not change with how busy we are. Before opening, the team completes a full check and disinfection of every play zone and signs the checklist. During the day we run continuously sanitation rounds: late morning, around lunch, mid-afternoon and early evening. High-touch points get wiped every round: door handles, slide rails, climbing steps, tables, chairs, etc. The ball pools are emptied and the balls washed at least once a week. After closing, the team runs the deep clean: floors, soft mats, toys, tables, chairs and coffee shop area. Our daily list has 38 tasks on it. We clean with Clinicare, Dettol and Greenwash, which are child-safe. Ask at the counter and we will show you today's completed list of our daily tasks.

At least one team member trained and certified in child first aid is on the floor during every shift. Our nannies hold first AID, CPR and AED certificate, renewed every two years. For bumps and scrapes we treat your child immediately, tell you straight away, and record it in the incident log. For anything more serious we call 1669, the national emergency medical number, and Bangkok Hospital, which is 10 minutes from us. A member of our team stays with your child until you arrive. The first-aid kit are kept at the counter and checked weekly.

LariDea is built for children aged 1 to 7, and the space is divided in two floors by age. ground floor, or Rainbow pony are dedicated to kids under 3 years old: a low, soft-floored area with padded edges, small-scale equipment and no high climbing. Toys in this zone are sized so nothing presents a choking risk. The second floor, or the Astro pony area for kids between 3 to 7 years old: the active zones, with slide, climbing frame, ball pit and trampoline area. Each zone is signposted and color-coded and staffed during opening hours. If your child sits on the line between the two, ask the team and we will tell you which zone fits them best.

Yes. Today's checklist is kept at the counter, showing the time each task was completed and the initials of the person who did it. Ask any team member and they will go through it with you. For the longer record, including equipment inspections and the deep-clean log, email laridea.kids.cafe@gmail.com and we will send it to you.
